An Undertale inspired bullet hell
The gameplay is heavily inspired by the enemy attack mechanics of "Undertale" by Toby Fox. There is no particular theming for it, other than the UI also being inspired by Undertale.
The game is Still in progress, as such there is no available game and Exe to download, the repository is still available though.Â
It will behave as a wave based survival minigame where you survive for as long as possible with waves increasing in difficulty.
Above is a Gif with a short demonstration of one of the implemented attacks so far, Other types plan to be implemented such as slashes, beams, etc.
The attacks speed is calculated in relation to the round, so it gets faster and more difficult as the waves continue, each wave containing more attacks.
No particular issues have arisen so far during development, the only thing that comes to mind is how I named a class "Wave", sharing a name with a class or struct from the Raylib library, which caused an issue that took me time to figure out. Has helped me to be less vague with my class naming to avoid issues like that from appearing in the future.
